More strikes planned in Northern Cyprus

Turkish Cypriot daily Yeni Duzen reports that the Trade Unions’ Platform announced yesterday that the “courts” in occupied Keryneia and Famagusta will be on strike from Monday.

The Platform which continues the strikes against the economic measures implemented by the “government” in the occupied Nicosia courts, the Land Registry and the Population Registry “departments”, commented also on last week’s “Communal Existence Rally.”

Prime Minister Erdogan said “They are carrying out provocative acts with the south. The administration in indifferent. Everyone, from the President to the Prime Minister must set forth their attitude clearly. Those fed by our country doing this is significant.”
