Cyprus not in danger from explosions in Japanese nuclear reactors

According to professor of nuclear physics at the University of Cyprus Charalambos Tsertos there is no risk to the area of ​​Cyprus and the Mediterranean in general. Mr. Tsertos explained that there is no nuclear explosion, but an explosion in the reactor shell which resulted into a small leak of radioactivity. The phenomenon, he said, is local, depending on the direction of the air cloud of radioactivity can travel to some of Japan’s neighbouring countries.
