Yesterday at around 20:00, a 22 year old from the Akoursos village, was injured in a tragic and at the same time ironic road accident. The 22 year old while driving his motorbike on the road connecting Akoursos and Pegia villages in Paphos under unknown conditions collided head on with a car, driven by his mother. He was critically injured, suffering multiple bone fractures and internal bleeding, he had to undergo extensive surgery, and he is currently treated at the Intensive Care Unit of Paphos General Hospital. The mother suffered no injuries. The police traffic department is still investigating the causes of the accident.
