Facebook Campaign against Cypriots in Greece?

A Facebook fan page came to our attention and we thought it would be good for people here to know about it. The fan page goes by the title ‘ΕΞΩ ΟΙ ΚΥΠΡΙΟΙ ΑΠΟ ΤΗΝ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ’ which loosely translates to ‘KICK CYPRIOTS OUT OF GREECE’. It campaigns against Cypriots in Greece blaming them for all of Greece’s troubles. There is no need to comment, you can see for yourselves here.

Is this what really people in Greece think about Cypriots? Is it just now that they have financial troubles that this came up or was it always like this?

So dirty, I swear ….. you have put yourself in this situation do not go and then complain about others things off you have done instead take your lazy asssss up and go to work instead of worrying about which state you are serious grow up.

it is easy to blame others when you’re sitting in shit, but instead of taking you up and make sure that work together to solve this you blame others, and you should be ashamed to call yourselves Greeks at all. but that is where money is everything.

you are one of the largest tourist country in the world instead of doing the part of your economy you throwing money here and there as if it has no value.

Grow up before you are in shit properly and stop blaming others for things off your own making.
No one takes anything from you, you should be glad that you have people coming from different countries who want to work, study it means more investment for you and your country.

You can not take a specific group of people and use it as if as it were an unbiased valid sample for the entire Country. There are minor groups of morons everywhere…I can think of some in Cyprus as well.

Would love a rebate of the 68 million we just sent them to bail them out again! Never understood why Cypriots ally themselves with a country that has never done anything for them. You never hear Americans, Australians etc etc calling themselves English American or English Australian just because they share SOME hertage, the same language and a religious persuasion of Christianity. Cypriots should be more proud of their own unique heritage, their own unique language ( which bears more relation tyo Ancient Greek than the Greeks speak today!) and can lay better claim to the origins of Orthodx Christianity than the Greeks. Stand up for yourselves and be Cypriot!
