Cyprus parliament approves tax on bank deposits
Cyprus’s parliament on Thursday passed legislation imposing a 0.095 percent tax on deposits of banking institutions, saying part of it would help create a financial stability fund.
5% VAT on Food and Medicine starting today
The Ministry of Finance has announced that a 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) has been imposed on all food and beverages.

New VAT rates from 10th January
