The renewal period for Road Tax Licence expired yesterday and as of today the police will be monitoring car traffic and issue fines to those who haven’t renewed yet. According to Petros Xenophon, a senior officer at the Department of Road Transport, 71% of the registered cars had their licence renewed.  The vast majority of renewals (98%) were made online.
