Dog owners will be able to enjoy the beach with their favourite pets by the end of July 2011. A beach will be designated in each district for use by dogs (and their owners). The location of the first dog-friendly beach that has been proposed is in Ayia Napa and the rest will follow. Its about time!

On a related topic, in the past we reported that dogs are now allowed in public parks but in almost all parks with the exception of the ones of Nicosia municipality the authorities have yet to remove the restrictive signs.
