TUS Airways postpones first flight from Larnaca

The Safety Regulation Unit of Civil Aviation Department postponed approval of TUS Airways Airline Operator Certificate (AOC) because two managers in key positions of the new airline resigned. The airline which was scheduled to start regular flights on 14th February, will remain grounded until the Department of Civil Aviation approves the new people who will fulfill the positions of the resigned managers. All passengers were informed and were offered flights with other airlines. According to the company’s statement, its priority is to conduct flights in the safest way and with the right people in the right positions. Tus initial schedule included flights to Tel Aviv and Haifa.
