Bulgarian man arrested with 10kg of cannabis

A 45 year old Bulgarian man living in Limassol was arrested after the Police’s Drug Law Enforcement Unit found 22 cannabis plants in his home. According to the Operations Deputy of Limassol Police Thomas Efthymiou, the man was under investigation after they received a tip and yesterday afternoon his car was pulled over and subsequently his house was searched under warrant where 22 cannabis plants were found. The plants were between 10 to 70cm tall and if left to develop would translate into more than 10kg of cannabis. The police has also arrested a 41 year old Bulgarian woman, who was living with him, who also had drug related troubles with the police in the past.
