Cobalt’s first commercial flight took off this morning with a 2 hour delay

Cobalt’s – the new Cypriot airline – first flight took off this morning from Larnaca International Airport a bit over two hours late after a problem was detected by one of the Airbus’s sensors. The flight with destination Athens, was scheduled to take off at 06:55 but finally took off at 09:30. The passengers boarded the plane on time but after a cockpit sensor indicated a fault the flight was grounded so the airline’s engineers could investigate the issue. It turned out it to be a false alarm and the airplane was cleared to fly.

Just a reminder, that Cobalt is now accepting bookings for flights from Larnaca to Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Chania, London, Manchester and Dublin with more destinations to be added soon.
